Haul: Albion & Eumora Facial Soap

Ok.. I promised myself that I wont be buying anymore skincare products until I finish using my current stash... It's quite a lot, to be honest..

But my friend was going to Taiwan and it's really hard to stop myself from asking her to buy the Albion product for me since I've been lemming it for some time.

The other item was actually purchased by my ma, to entertain her client.. This small bar of soap measuring 2"x1"x1cm costs S$40.00. It better be good. I haven't had the chance to try it yet since I dont want to open any new products without finishing my current ones...

So, I will try to write something after I have used them.

As we can see, the whole bar of soap is approx the size of the normal laptop touchpad. I went to the website to understand more on the product and I got this feeling that this is a MLM product. Anyway, I'll give this a try once my current cleansers run out.

Albion is a very well-known Japanese skincare and cosmetics company and rumor has  it that they are the good people who helps Anna Sui produce the fine line of makeup and skincare.

This product is one of Albion's best selling item, with many beauty awards under it's belt and topping the sales charts of Japanese Toners market for years. Some say this bottle surpasses even the Miracle water..

This product is highly raved in beauty forums. Not to mention many Taiwanese and Japanese celebs. And I've read that the Japanese royals also uses this line...

So, I had to get my hands on it, no matter the price.. I just had to try it myself... And since my friend was going to Taiwan, I just couldn't make myself pass on the chance to own a bottle of this famed toner.

3rd Annual Drawing for Life Marathon, Saturday, March 6

Fighting cancer is a team effort and the impact we can make together is much greater than what any of us could do alone. All of the artists on our team wish to use their abilities to help those whose lives have been affected by cancer.

At the 3rd Annual Drawing for Life Marathon, our team will draw for 12-hours straight and sell all the artwork created during that day to raise money and awareness to help the American Cancer Society save more lives from cancer. Visitors are welcome to watch us draw the entire day and purchase our art as soon as we finish it.

JaxScene Redesign

Well it's just about done. The major changes are finished but you will see smaller ones coming soon. RSS button, font color and size changes, ad space to pay contributors, and more. The need to redesign was to reduce the side gutter clutter and bring an aesthetic focus to media. The ideas that I was kicking around for the look was mainly how Zines look. And still, I am going to tweak it to get closer to that goal. Feel free to comment. The one drawback is those that still use lower monitor resolutions (1024 width and down) won't see the new design correctly. I am still working on that.

Blak Ryno Leaves Portmore Empire

Problems in the camp? Why is Blak Ryno leaving the Portmore Empire?  What is happening in Gaza? Is the Emperor Vybz Kartel unable to take care of the well being of his clans men and women? This ungoing saga of people leaving the Empire on the Gaza Strip in Portmore reminds me of a story in the Bible about a Kingdom that is divided by itself.

Well according to our source, Blak Ryno he is not leaving the Empire because of financial reasons, but he is JUST leaving. That makes no sense Blak Ryno something is wrong, people nuh just get up and run off if all is well.

We understand that Blak Ryno has not been going to the studio regularly these days (obviously something is wrong), and his supporters and other parties of interest are wondering if he now believes that he has matured enough in the music industry to fly solo.

Sources say that the tension had been brewing for some time and that Blak Ryno felt that the time was right to call it quits.

Electric President’s "The Violent Blue" Out Tomorrow

Electric President is made up of Ben Cooper and Alex Kane, both natives of Jacksonville, Florida. Ben is pretty awesome, but Alex is a piece of shit. He's good at bass, though, so Ben puts up with him for that and that alone. Both of them are very fond of pizza, but Ben's stomach is easily twice the size of Alex's and he can eat much more of it per sitting. Alex also drinks Diet Coke due to having diabetes since he was a little kid, which is embarrassing (the Diet Coke … not the having diabetes part). Ben must have the patience of a Saint to put up with that guy.

They've recorded two albums and one EP under the Electric President moniker, all released under the German imprint Morr Music, with a third to be released this in early 2010, set to be released by Fake Four Inc. They've had songs on television (two on the OC, which was canceled shortly after – coincidence?) and in various short films. They both came from pretty DIY ideas of making music, and as such record all their music in a tool shed and a bedroom with a handful of recording gear. Apparently, this gives them cred.

They hope to one day be incredibly rich from their music so they can buy an airplane and set it on fire without ever using it. To burn that sucker simply because they can, and to stand by and drink expensive wine and laugh manically until it explodes.
