Haul / Skincare: Metro 20% Sale - SK-II & Laneige

Haul photos again... I headed down to the Metro 20% sale today as I needed to restock my Laneige Perfect Renew Skin Refiner (120ml) @ SGD53.00 before discount. I'm almost done with the 3rd bottle and it's a staple in my skincare regime now.

Next up is the SK-II Skin Power Start Program set @ SGD134.00 before discount. I've been lusting after the SK-II Skin Signature ever since my sis passed me a sample of it to try. Totally no outbreaks, calmed and make my skin radiant. So after doing some math, I decided it was worth the money to purchase the set.

Last year, Metro had a 20% sale for the NATAS weekend and my gut feel was right, there another similar one this year. Just got this in my email today.


I'm going down to stock up on some of my essential items. My Laneige toner is getting to a dangerously low level.

 In addition, I might pick up some other items along the way...

Haul / Makeup: Dior - Diorshow 360

I've wanting to try out the Dior Mascara after seeing how good it performed after getting the sampler set. And so, when I got some Metro Shopper Cheques, I decided to go for the Diorshow Waterproof Mascara.

But the SA recommended me their latest product in their Mascara arsenal instead, the Diorshow 360. It comes with a mechanical brush that rotates at the flick of the switch. Intrigued by the rotating brush and seeing that the price difference is not that great, I decided to go for this product instead.

Retails at SGD62.00 but I had SGD40.00 worth of shopper cheque. So in the end, I paid SGD22.00 for it only.

Will try and review this out when I can find time to do some serious eye makeup. These days, I just apply a thin layer of cream eyeshadow and I'm out of the house.

Haul: Metro - DiorSkin Nude 020 Liquid Foundation + DiorSnow White Reveal UV Shield

Metro had their Ladies Night on 19 Nov 2010 and I got Ling's help to stock up on my Dior essential items, which was running low.

I replenished the DiorSnow White Reveal UV Shield (30ml @ SGD79.00) as I totally ran out of the product and had to use my Clarins sunscreen, which I don't exactly fancy. I was desparate enough to snatch my sister's to tide me over while I wait for my own to come in.

As for my DiorSkin Nude Liquid Foundation (30 ml @ SGD66.00). I've been using this foundation almost on a daily basis for months, and I've been feeling perplexed since months ago.

Not matter how much I use, I haven't seen a drop in the water level since opening the bottle. I approached the BA and she advised that it could be due to the nature of the product. There is an ingredient that makes the foundation clinge onto the sides of the bottle, making it difficult to gauge the remaining water level.

So, I decided to stock this item up too. I do not want to wake up one fine morning to find that I ran out of my HG foundation, when I need it. I would probably go into a hissy fit.

Metro had a 20% storewide sale yesterday and thinking that I am low on some of my HG, I decided to go down and stock them up.

My intention was to get my staples and try out the Clinique exfoliating scrub.. But I ended up splurging on Clinique products cos I could get a 7 piece GWP if my total purchase exceeds $180.00. So, here's the total damage:

I did a stash assessment today while trying to find space to house my skincare stuff and I realized that I've bought and stashed away quite a number of things. Guess I have to stop spending on skincare beauties for some time while I work on using up my skincare items.. Gosh, I have like 7 bottles of bodywash alone... Sheesh..

I'm lemming over whether I should get a whitening mask.. But nah, I shall finish up my stash items before I spend anything on skincare again.. I still have 10Pan challenge to complete...
