Jaxscene: Things To Do Saturday 2/12/11

Getting back into Jaxscene, it's come to are attention doing "Things To Do" isn't going to be as easy as it once was. We stop doing Jaxscene thinking Facebook had a good enough platform for promoters to get the word out. Well with time people have become lazy. At least on MySpace you can put a flyer of weekly events that never changed and you also had a calendar on your profile page. It was set it and forget it.

This is just an idea I had and the only way it is going to work is if you contribute. We are trying to make this as simple for any promoter as possible. All you have to do is comment. Say Chicken and Whiskey is at Lomax just comment, "Chicken and Whiskey tonight at Lomax." Got info, a link to the flyer or event page add that as well. Not a promoter but you know of an event and want to support it, comment, let people know.


Go ahead and give it a try. I don't know what the permissions are set to on commenting but we will work it out eventually.
